As much as I love the treadmill it does get boring sometimes. You can feel like a hamster spinning on a wheel. Some days are easier than others but I find if you switch your mentality to small intervals or break things down to shorter time frames the time on the treadmill can seem to go by much quicker.
This is one of my NO MORE BORING Treadmill Workouts. I have found many ways to make the treadmill interesting over the years.
Here are some example photos:
Side Shuffle – Start with the treadmill at 1.0 and adjust as you are comfortable. Basically sideways galloping.
High Knees Skip – Start with the treadmill as slow as you need. Skip and raise your knee alternating legs.
Slow Lunge – Start with the treadmill at 1.0 and adjust as you are comfortable. Deep slow lunges stay controlled (hold onto sides of treadmill as needed for balance while beginning).
Butt Kicks – Didn’t snap a pic of this but you get the idea literally kick your own butt. 😉
SEE THE TREADMILL CAN BE FUN 😉
